Term 3 Update
Hello to the families and students of Room 16! We have been having a wonderful time at school, learning lots of new things! Here are some photographs of what we have been up to.
In Big Write, we have been focusing on how to write outstanding narratives. Here are some photographs of the students working hard on their writing! Big Write is a great opportunity for the students to express their creativity in a calm and safe environment.
In Week 6, we celebrated Book Week. The students of Room 16 had a fantastic time at the Book Parade! You all looked wonderful in your costumes.

In Mathematics, we have been learning about subtraction with regrouping, division of small collections and how to tell time to the quarter hour. The students really enjoyed a recent hands-on activity where they made their own clock!
Congratulations to the students who received Merit Certificates in Week 5 and 6. You should be extremely proud of your efforts!
Room 16 also won the Music Award and the School Board Uniform Award at the Week 6 Junior Assembly. Here are our Student Councillors proudly holding the awards!
