Practice Time

A reminder that Practice Time sheets and Spelling lists are now located on the class blog and Connect each week. Students are asked to print the sheet and complete their work at home, as well as complete their weekly Spelling practice. This will be following the routine we did in class during Term 1. If students do not have access to a printer, they may write the answers straight into their book or ask me to print them a sheet.

Please ensure that students bring their Practice Time book and folder to school in their bag each day. Work will be marked every Monday afternoon as a class so it is important for students to get into the routine of bringing their book to school.

Merit Certificates and specialist awards will continue to be awarded and parents of those children will be contacted. Term 2 Update

Hello to the students and families of Room 27. Welcome back to Term 2! I hope you had a wonderful holiday. We have a very exciting term ahead of us, I will be sure to update you with the things we learn over the next few weeks. A reminder that NAPLAN will take place in Weeks 4 and 5 of this term. Year 3 students will be tested on their reading, writing, spelling, grammar and mathematics skills. Please note: Year 3 students will be completing the writing test on paper. The reading, language conventions and numeracy tests will be completed online.
