Term 2 Update

Hello to the families and students of Room 16! Here are some photos of what we have been up to in Term 2. In I.C.T, we have been focusing on Microsoft Word processing skills. The students have been busy typing up their wonderful poetry and learning how to change the font, size and colour of their text. We have had some wild weather over the past few weeks! The students enjoyed getting creative with the coloured straws and wooden shapes when we had to spend lunch indoors. Here are some of their creations. Practice Time

A reminder that Practice Time sheets and Spelling lists are now located on the class blog and Connect each week. Students are asked to print the sheet and complete their work at home, as well as complete their weekly Spelling practice. This will be following the routine we did in class during Term 1. If students do not have access to a printer, they may write the answers straight into their book or ask me to print them a sheet. Please ensure that students bring their Practice Time book and folder to school in their bag each day. Work will be marked every Monday afternoon as a class so it is important for students to get into the routine of bringing their book to school. Thank you for your ongoing support.
