Super Scientist Competition

This semester, students are asked to present a short (2 min) report on a topic for the Super Scientist Competition. A report is not an experiment. Reports should be an explanation of a topic from a scientific perspective such as an animal, life-cycle, planet, states of matter or any topic that your child chooses. Children are asked to have their reports prepared and ready to present by Week 5.

Merit Certificates and specialist awards will continue to be awarded and parents of those children will be contacted. Hello to the students and families of Room 27. Welcome back to Term 2! I hope you had a wonderful holiday. We have a very exciting term ahead of us, I will be sure to update you with the things we learn over the next few weeks. A reminder that NAPLAN will take place in Weeks 4 and 5 of this term. Year 3 students will be tested on their reading, writing, spelling, grammar and mathematics skills. Please note: Year 3 students will be completing the writing test on paper. The reading, language conventions and numeracy tests will be completed online.
