Practice Time

From Term 2 onwards, the Year Two Practice Time sheets and Spelling lists will be available on the blog every Monday afternoon. Students are asked to print the Practice Time sheet and glue it into their book as well as complete their Spelling practice for the week. This will be following the routine we did in class during Term 1. If students do not have access to a printer, they may ask me to print a copy of the sheet or write the answers straight into their book.

Practice Time sheets and Spelling will be checked and marked in class every Monday. Students will also swap their home reader every Monday afternoon.

Term 2 Update

Hello to the students and families of Room 27. Welcome back to Term 2! I hope you had a wonderful holiday. We have a very exciting term ahead of us, I will be sure to update you with the things we learn over the next few weeks. A reminder that NAPLAN will take place in Weeks 4 and 5 of this term. Year 3 students will be tested on their reading, writing, spelling, grammar and mathematics skills. Please note: Year 3 students will be completing the writing test on paper. The reading, language conventions and numeracy tests will be completed online.
