Poetry Recital
During Week 4, students will be asked to deliver a
poetry recital. Each student will need to recite a poem of their choice. This
could be a poem they have written themselves. The recital should be no longer
than 2 minutes. Students will need to focus on voice and expression, movement,
action and enthusiasm. Props and sound effects could also be used. It would be
good if the student could recite the poem from memory. We will choose one winner
from each Year Level, who will then recite their poem at the Book Parade in Week 6.
